I came into this business because I have seen too many impersonal funerals, which could have been about anyone and it made me furious! Your loved one’s funeral, your last goodbye, their last big party should be as memorable as they were and contain the essence of their personality. This is not a job for me, this is a passion, I want to truly honour the life that they lived, no matter how short.

Whether it is a funeral, interment, scattering of ashes or a memorial we can work together to create a ceremony as unique as your loved one. You can choose to have your ceremony at a crematorium, grave side, village hall, football stadium, forest, the seaside, your living room or the local pub. It can contain as much religion or spirituality as you desire, you can have readings from the Bible, a novel or a children’s picture book, you can select hymns, pop songs or even heavy metal music. You can light a candle, raise a glass or even do a tequila slammer. There are no right or wrongs.
The Process
I will meet with you and your family and through you, I will get to know your loved one. You will take me on a journey of their life, help me to understand what made them tick, made them smile, or made them angry. What you loved about them and what drove you mad. Together we can produce a ceremony you can be proud of and that they would have loved. After the meeting I will write a funeral script, I will send you a draft and I will make as many alterations as needed before the day. It is an entirely individual ceremony, with your loved one at the heart!
